GOOD MORNING! It's actually night right now as I type this, but hopefully, for most of you, it will be morning when you read this. Or it could be night, if you're in the Northern parts...this isn't going anywhere. I'm just in good spirits right now, and I'm not sure if it's down to the pamper session I just had, or if it's because I've just spent the past hour compiling a list of exciting beauty additions I feel I need in my life...right now...
I feel like I may be one of the last people on Earth to purchase the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders. I mean, $62 for a powder? I don't even like powder that much. But here it is, featuring on my Wishlist, and here it will be soon, when my brother brings it home from the States for me...

Two from Origins because why not? I've sampled both of these products and am genuinely happy with the results, not to mention the Night-A-Mins makes my face smell like an orange, and that is an awesome thing. Another skincare addition I am interested to try is the Ole Henriksen 'True Is In The Eyes' Eye Cream / Serum / Peel. I saw Anna mention this in her post on eye creams recently, and how this has helped reduce her millia around the eye area, and it caught my attention. Though rather expensive, it sounds like a product right up my alley and I'm very keen to give it a go.

The Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade has been making the rounds lately and I immediately knew I had to try it. Even though I prefer using a pencil to fill my brows in, this product sparked my interest as everyone has been saying it's super quick and easy to fill brows in, and I am all about that. For something a bit different, I've decided I would like to give the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil's a go, after seeing a few photos lately of some lovely ladies wearing the shade 'Red Square'. I'm not normally a bold lip girl, but the fact this is an easy to apply, and a matte finish pencil makes me want to be a bit brave and try something different.

I'm not sure if butter London is available in Australia, but if not I will have to put these on my Sephora wishlist as well, as I love the colours! I've been in a nail polish rut lately, not straying far from my beloved Essie 'Wicked' since I picked it up in New York last year. But butter London offer up such a gorgeous colour range, it was hard to narrow it down to just two!

I saw Suzie mention the Living Proof Style Extender on her blog recently and swiftly added it to my Mecca Wishlist. I've not heard much about it, but a product that aims to extend your hair style between washes? I need this in my life, and my blowdry routine.

Oh boy, the last two have been on my mind continuously since I first heard about them. The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, need I say more? I'm on the hunt for a new high end foundation and after swatching this in Myer last week, I see now why people rave about it. This foundation is right up my alley. The Clinique 'All About Shadow' palette has also had a fair few blog posts dedicated to it, and can you see why? Those colours, oh man. The last two? I can't even form words. I need to get this before it disappears, stat.

Do you own or have you tried any of these products? If so, tell me your thoughts! Particularly on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, I'm still twiddling my thumbs over this one...

  1. I've really been wanting the GinZing eye cream too. I use the moisturiser every morning and absolutely love everything about it: the hydration, the scent, the luminising effect...

  3. Nice list! I totally get you about the ambient powder (I also don't have it), it's just so darn expensive!
If you're looking for Butter nail polishes the only place I have seen them is on adorebeauty.com.au, it's a great site and I purchase a lot of my products from there so you should give it a go!
And the that Clinique palette ... I think that one is a need

  6. I've managed to cross off a lot of things off my wishlist lately, which is a really great feeling, but of course, once that happens, you always find about another ten million things to add to it! I have the Origins Night-A-Mins on my wishlist too, but I think I might wait until my next Myer One rewards card next quarter and use up my other moisturisers in the meantime. I really want to try the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation too, but that probably won't be happening for a while as I just bought myself the YSL Touche Eclat foundation with my last Myer One rewards card, so I'm okay for now on the foundation front!

You definitely won't regret purchasing the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. I don't even understand how this sets your foundation when it literally looks and feels like nothing on the skin. It truly is magic! It gives such a natural look and really is faultless.

    1. Oh how is the YSL Touche Eclat foundation? When I was at the YSL stand last week, I went to get a colour match of the Youth Liberator and the lady kept saying it was the wrong foundation for me, and I should try the Touche Eclat. Interested to see what it's like?

    1. Well, seeing as I'm going there next month now, I'll just get everything myself :) And you sent me nail polish last time so obviously customs is ok with that! Just make sure the lids are on tight because I had a bit of spillage in the last box, haha! And yes, I can't wait to try that Style Extender!
