I should know by now that I cannot just 'walk into Aesop'. I have to buy from there - I don't care what, I just need everything. The last totally un-justifiable purchase was the Resurrection Hand Balm, which really, I needed like three months ago when my hands suffered terribly from the cold, dry weather and an unexpected allergic reaction. I didn't get it then, but I figured I should probably purchase it now, for 'next time'.

I don't really get dry hands, thankfully. It never hurts to look after them though, and I have no complaints slathering this on every night before bed. As per every damn Aesop product, this smells amazing. It's a really lovely mix of Lavender and Mandarin, and just that nice, earthy, natural smell. As someone who does not like the smell of Lavender, I am absolutely on board with this. Thumbs up from the Smell-a-phobe.

It also sinks in so well - it doesn't leave any greasy feeling which makes it great for on-the-go people or even just to have sitting on your computer desk at work. I generally just keep mine by my bedside though as I've never really felt the need to use this any other time, and it's just a nice little routine for me before bed.

It goes without saying also, that Aesop just have a knack for really well designed packaging. It's so nice and simple and doesn't scream 'commercial', and the little graphics nerd in me just loves that. Who doesn't love pulling out a product from their handbag and watching peoples eyes light up with a little 'oooh!'. I know I do!

  2. Hehehe yep I avoid Aesop when I'm low on pennies because I know I won't be able to help myself. I was completely addicted to the Fabulous Face Oil while I was using it, and I love their handwashes as well. Oh and the Chamomile Anti Blemish mask. So. Many. Things.. :)

  3. I'm still yet to try anything from Aesop but gosh darn I need to. This hand cream sounds so lovely. I'm usually not a fan of lavender either, but I've recently been using a hand cream (Vanessa Megan Peruvian Flower hand cream) and the scent is somewhat lavender-ish and omg it's so calming and lush before bed.

  6. The Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque is incredible and the only thing I have tried by Aesop so far. I'm definitely interested in giving more of their products a go as I've heard incredible things about just about everything they have. xx

  7. I haven't tried a whole lot from Aesop, but that's something I definitely need to rectify! The Resurrection Hand Balm is my go-to hand cream and nothing has been as hydrating as this. I don't suffer from dry hands either, but I do get them occasionally and I love using this on my super dry elbows. Nothing else has worked on them, but from the scent to the rich, creamy texture, this stuff is just so good and works a treat.

I love the minimalist packaging of Aesop too and you need to try the Rinse Free Hand Wash next. Now I don't feel so bad I don't have access to those Bath & Body Works hand sanitisers. I won't use another one besides this again!

Also, what happened to your Disqus?!

  8. Oh god, I only just realised now that Disqus wasn't working. Fixed now :( Thanks for letting me know, haha!

I am definitely going to check out the hand wash because I hate the smell of most hand sanitisers - I am weiiiirdd.

  13. Oh, I really feel like I need one of their hand washes in my bathroom. In fact, that very may well be my next purchase. Completely unnecessary, thanks Aesop for your gorgeous packaging...
